BILLING & DISCHARGE PROCEDURE

 

HOSPITAL BILLS:

  1. Billing time is from 12 noon – 12 noon, it does not depend on the time of admission.
  2. Approximate bills can be seeked from the Hospital’s Back office by the patient’s relatives; else it shall be intimated as & when the Total Bill has surpassed the Deposit amount. Deposit has to be updated according to the bills raised.
  3. All procedures and additional support required for the patient during their course of treatment are charged additionally and are not included in bed charges.
  4. Kindly clarify the charges with the Billing staff for the same.
  5. When a patient desires transfer from lower class to higher class, then higher class charges are applicable from the day of admission.
  6. When a patient desires transfer from higher class to lower class, patient needs to settle the previous class bills before transfer.
  7. All indoor bills must be paid at the authorized billing counter and the receipt for the same should be seeked. Management will not be responsible if payments are made to unauthorized persons.

 

MODE OF PAYMENT:

  • CASH
  • D.D. (DEMAND DRAFT)
  • CREDIT / DEBIT CARD
  • NEFT / RTGS / IMPS TRANSFER

Note: D. should be in favor of “CENTURY RAYON HOSPITAL TRUST” & payable at MUMBAI
 

DISCHARGE:

  1. Billing department works from 9 am to 6 pm.
  2. Routine discharges are made after receiving written instructions from the consulting doctors; any discharge after 12noon shall be charged for next day until unless the discharge was pre informed in back office.
  3. Make sure you collect your discharge card, bill and final payment receipt and the reports of the Pathology & Radiology departments before leaving the hospital; management shall not be responsible if these are not collected / confirmed at the time of discharge.
  4. In case of emergency discharge or transfer of patient outside the regular working hours, the approximate bill amount has to be deposited at the reception and receipt to be taken; this shall be settled on the next working day in the above mentioned time.
  5. There won’t be any planned Transfers / Discharges for any patient on Sunday’s and Public Holiday’s, if needed; then above instructions to be followed.
